Blocks 9/27a & 9/27c Location Map

Block 9/27a lies to the west of the Cragganmore oil field.

The block was awarded in the 23rd Licensing Round as a traditional licence.  EnCore has a 62.5 per cent. equity.  Fairfield Energy is operator.

Block 9/27c was awarded in the 25th Licensing Round as a promote licence.  EnCore has a 100 per cent. equity. The block contains potential prospectivity within the Tertiary interval. The work programme comprises seismic reprocessing and a drill-or-drop well decision to the base Tertiary to be made within 2 years of the award.
