EnCore has interests in seven onshore licences and one offshore licence covering over 3,600 acres of the Weald and Wessex Basins. The licences are adjacent to the Horndean, Singleton and Storrington oil fields. Prospectivity has been identified primarily within the Middle Jurassic Great Oolite and additionally within the Sherwood and Bridport sandstones. Markwells Wood on licence PEDL 126 is expected to be drilled in 2010 (the access track and site build for the well began in March 2009) and plans are currently being processed that may lead to the drilling of a well at Leigh Park on licence PEDL 155.
